Precision Motorcycle Painting, Inc.

Classic Motorcycle Gallery

When you entrust your motorcycle to us, we keep you in the loop from start to finish with photographs of each stage of the process. We'll send you status reports and photos by email so you can see the transformation as it happens.

Whether your classic bike requires major refurbishment, welding, and rust repair; a face lift to return it to factory condition; or just a change of color or restoration for faded paint, we can get it back to you looking like it just rolled off the factory floor.

1967 Norton N-15

This is an interesting bike. A Norton engine on a Matchless frame. We restored these parts for a customer out of Gary, In. Norton's candy red always looks good on any one of their bikes. The inside was stripped and sealed with a clear epoxy.

1967 Norton Manx Tank (Gus Kuhn)

This is a very rare tank with the oil chamber next to the gas chamber. The owner Bill H. of Grand Rapids tells us it's going on a 67 frame with a Dunstall motor.

1970 Bonneville T120

When our customers ask us if it is worth it to paint their motorcycles we respond by telling them "If your motorcycle is going to be worth top dollar, it needs an original looking paint job that is professionally done. " There are a lot of paint jobs going on motorcycles that are actually hurting their value more than helping it. The motorcycle pictured above will bring top dollar at any show or auction. Your bike can look like this also. We did only the paint for this project, however we can also do the total restoration.

1975 Norton 850 Commando (John Player Scheme)

These parts are from a 850 Commando owned by Scott I. who resides in Tennessee. We applied a John Player paint scheme, painted on the logos and protected it with four coats of clear urethane. The inside of the tank is protected with a clear epoxy.

1969 PENTON "SIX-DAY-125"

This tank came to us in extremely bad shape. After stripping inside and out we soldered and sealed all the holes. It then got the original factory paint scheme and factory colors only with 6 coats of clear for extra depth and protection.

1969 Triumph Bonneville (Olympic Flame)

How about this work of art. When we paint these parts we never know how the rest of the bike is going to look until we get the picture of the finished bike. No disappointment here. This is owned by Brad A. of Ohio. Nice job Brad.

1975 Triumph Trident

This tank was in very bad shape when we got it. The tank was sent to the strip shop then sealed inside with our clear epoxy sealer. All dings and dent were repaired. Cherokee red candy was applied and finished off with Alaskan white scallops separated by gold pinstripes.

1974 Norton Commando Interstate

Sent to us by Gerald S. from New York State. Black and gold is always a favorite amoung Norton enthusists. The parts were rough but we brought them back to factory condition and then some. The inside was sealed with our clear epoxy that is gauranteed for two years.

1967 Triumph TR6R

WHEN PAUL M. FROM HUDSON WISCONSIN SAID HE WANTED TO SUBSTITUTE THE MIST GREEN WITH A GRAY METALLIC WE DIDN'T KNOW HOW THIS WOULD LOOK. NOT BAD PAUL, A LITTLE CUSTOM COUPLED WITH A CLASSIC SCHEME MAKES THIS BIKE UNIQUE.

2003 Triumph Bonneville

IF YOU WANT TO CONVERT YOUR LATE MODEL BONNEVILLE TO A 2009 PAINT SCHEME, WE CAN DO IT. THIS ONE BELONGS TO RICHARD C. OF NILES, MICH.

1966 Honda Frame

POWDERCOAT OR PAINT?  A COMMON QUESTION ASKED BY PEOPLE IN THE MOTORCYCLE ENTHUSIAST COMMUNITY. THIS FRAME WAS PAINTED WITH A POLYURETHANE PAINT THAT HAS AN EPOXY PRIMER AS AN UNDERCOAT. THIS SYSTEM OFFERS A PERFECT MATCH TO THE FACTORY FINISH. WE ALSO OFFER POWDERCOAT.
